The Dededo rain gage is about 0.5 miles east of Dededo at an altitude of 375 ft. The gage has been operated since March 1987. The average yearly rainfall during the period of record is 112 inches. This station is operated by the Honolulu field office and is equipped with an 8-inch diameter Hydrological Services TB-3 tipping bucket can and connected to a Design Analysis H-500XL data logger.
