GIS Data Sources
The U.S. Geological Survey is one of the Nation's primary geospatial
data collection and distribution agencies. The Hawaii District
Office does not maintain a public repository of geospatial data, but
cooperates with other branches of the USGS and Federal, State, and local
governments for collecting, producing, and providing quality maps and
data sources.
For an introduction over the types of information maps convey and how
to use them, visit the USGS Learning Web - Understanding
Maps.
